We have thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks holiday this June at your excellent gîtes. The facilities and ambience were all that could be asked for and the beautiful location near to Tocane-St-Apre has been perfect for exploring the Périgueux region.

Just wanted to write and thank you for a great stay at La Treille this week. We’ve been to a few different gites in France, but your place is by far the best we’ve stayed in – really clean, well equipped, and in a great location – a real home from home. “Wonderful gites which have been fabulously converted. Had a wonderful time and the gites are ideally located in a wonderful setting. The accomodation, swimming pool and grounds were immaculately clean and had everything you needed for your stay. The owners were delightful and made you most welcome and couldn’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Even Ruben (the dog) added some extra fun for Jack our 18 month old son. If you have children this is an ideal place to stay with plenty of toys to suit children of all ages.

After another holiday at La Treille we were not disappointed. The accommodation is ideal for our party of 12 and many days were spent around the pool surrounded by the wonderful views. The evenings involved big family dinners outside, which were very relaxed and often involved sampling the local wine.

The area allows you to do as little or as much as you want and this meant there was something for everyone to do.

Julie and Jeff are a lovely couple who are helpful and easy to chat to which reinforces  the relaxed and friendly atmosphere we always find at La Treille.

I would certainly recommend La Treille.

our two week stay at La Treille was one of the best holidays we have enjoyed as a family. A peaceful location, a gite which had everything you could wish for, Jeff & Julie were  superb hosts –  always there to help.  We spent hours in our terrace looking across the valley to Tocane, listening to the church bells and watching the buzzards soaring over the woods. We spent days out in Sarlat /Domme, St Emillion , Brantome and Perigueux  but also spent days by the pool, playing pool & table tennis and enjoying the sun. An excellent holiday and we are aiming to return very soon. Once again many thanks to Jeff, Julie & Ruben.

We really enjoyed our stay at la Treille.

A tasteful combination of the old and the new, with all the comforts of home,

Secluded, with beautiful and restful views, a hop, skip and a jump from the hidden gem of the chateau at Bourdeilles and the restaurants and market at Brantome.

Yet handy for a day out to Domme, Castlenaud and the gardens of Marqueyssac on the banks of the Dordogne, best followed by a dip in the pool and a glass of wine on the terrace!
